I am an education consultant and professional learning specialist with over 20 years of experience in K–12 education, spanning classroom teaching, academic leadership, and digital learning. As an Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Apple Distinguished Educator alumni, I am passionate about helping educators integrate technology meaningfully to create engaging, creative, and student-centered learning experiences. Today, I support schools and education institutions across the UAE with digital transformation, professional learning, and technology adoption. I'm Miao (吳怡欣), currently working as a lecturer at Jingsheng Technology (晶盛科技), with four years of teaching and training experience. My main work involves going into K-12 schools to help teachers get familiar with iPads and various digital tools, and thinking through how to genuinely apply technology in teaching. Besides iPad, I also focus on the teaching applications of tools like Goodnotes, Padlet, Kahoot!, Wayground, and Google AI. I enjoy turning seemingly complex tech tools into simple, practical teaching methods — so that teachers don't just "learn to use" them, but can bring them straight back into the classroom and put them into practice.

As a math teacher, Goodnotes is my daily companion, serving both as a digital whiteboard and as an interface for personalized feedback in class. Alongside my framework for digital notebook management, I offer various helpful tools (Goodnotes extensions) to further optimize the app for educational settings. I have been an iPad trainer for 14 years and have trained over 20,000 teachers in using iPads. I have used GoodNotes since it was first released, and it has been an integral part of my workshops in schools ever since.
I am a special education teacher focusing on emotional and social development. In addition to teaching, I manage the setup of our school's 1:1 iPad deployment. Since 2020, I have been training teachers both online and in person on iPad usage, TaskCards, and Goodnotes, and since 2026, Goodnotes Education as well.

Having started my career as a biologist and university lecturer in the early 2000s, I have been advising and supporting schools and teachers as an Apple Learning Specialist at the ACS Group in Ottobrunn near Munich since 2014. Apple devices have been my constant companions since the early 1990s.
